Summary Judgment

is a good start, but it would be useful to see the complete records of the hearings. Do you agree?

Supreme Court has launched a YouTube channel that shows a brief summary judgments on Monday. Summaries are read by the trial judge when released. Already ten online and charged every time you open a trial.


Since its launch in 2009, the Supreme Court has done fairly well in access to justice in line. Their site is clear and elegant, excellent press reviews public, while judgments, the Supreme Court was the first to join Twitter (@ uksupremecourt now has over 27,000 followers) and their audiences can be seen live on in online through a partnership with Sky News.

Summary Judgment

is a good start. Without seeming ungrateful, it would be really useful is the ability to access complete records of hearings on YouTube, as provided Brazilian Grand Supreme Federal Tribunal YouTube channel. More important court hearings in the UK are registered at great expense and with excellent quality. But if you miss the live broadcast, it is almost impossible to see them. Being able to see them back online would be very useful for lawyers, law students and members of the public.

"is the length of the hearings - which tend to average 10 hours to appeal ... Edit, format support, compression and volume images is really not as simple that it seems, and YouTube could not that kind of length. "
