JiWire, AWG use locationbased ads to offer free WiFi

Many of us here at Engadget know the value of the free airport WiFi very well, having flown back to our various corners of the world - if an access point or base cell is not an option, free access to the Internet can be a lifesaver. JiWire AWG and we do not want to face this dilemma. They extend their partnership to use location-based ad system JiWire Free WiFi, all sponsored by the United States. Require that passengers see local publicity when they jump online is the best of both worlds, the company says you get the relationship to which we aspire, while nearby stores get exposure. Few people call at least 1 Mbps bandwidth AWG much, but it could mean the difference between catching YouTube and twiddling your thumbs during a layover. Neither company has said exactly when and where it will grow. When only 15 airports in the United States are based on the current AWG service, however, there is plenty of room to grow.
