two-thirds of Facebook users took a break from volunteering on the site for several weeks or more, citing reasons ranging from "excessive chatter or the theater of his friends" to "concerns to privacy, "according to a new study.

According to a new study published by the U.S. Pew Research Center, only 4% of Facebook users citing privacy issues, with only 1% said they did not like to share their life with Facebook. Only 2% said they prefer to communicate face to face.

But a significant minority, less than a third said that the site is less important to them now and just over a third reported that they have reduced the amount of time they have had on the site.

just over one in 10 said they spend more time on the site, especially women.


be concerned about Facebook usage reports decreased between 18 and 29 years, with 42% saying that the amount of time spent on social networking site on a typical day has declined over the past 12 months.
