Internet things? It's so 2012. 2013? Well, maybe, just maybe, it'll be all over the internet in places. Hexagonal search founders Loren Lang and Ronald Bynoe bet that the next big thing will be computer-friendly environment. The duo created

Observos

which combines a microcontroller ATMEL (with built-in wireless) with a series of sensors on board.

What began as a prototype built around a tower Arduino shields is now a race first small board with connection points and radio cards XBee small LCD screen. Now the focus is on pressure humidity, barometric pressure and temperature, although other environmental variables would be relatively easy to add. While Observos board is not ready for prime time, its already taken a serious field trials in a nursery and a possible association with technology IEEE Humanitarian Challenge could find table placed in the center health in the Amazon.

more on the small screen, the card can be programmed to send text messages or email alerts in the future and could bind ventilation or heating control for fully automated. There is even a rudimentary web interface to monitor data from different sensors.
