World of Warcraft, Call of Duty accused of violating virtual worlds patent
A company goes by the name of the Worlds Inc. has filed a lawsuit against Activision, claiming that a series of online game publisher infringes a patent on a large scale virtual worlds. Worlds Inc. said that both the World of Warcraft and Call of Duty has violated one of its patents covering "a system and method to allow users to interact in a virtual space."
