The Real Reason Janet Napolitano Doesn't Like Email -- Accountability
We detailed the cognitive dissonance created by the statements of the head of DHS, Janet Napolitano, on the use of electronic mail. Last September, she happily said she does not use email "at all", and in fact, "avoids many online services." She went on to say that some call "Luddite" and present the situation seemed incongruous that comic. Hilarity ensues. Powerful government official said:. "What do I internet" LOLS 11
So everyone had a good laugh, if you believe
our own (we are still paying his salary), and Janet Napolitano still failed to examine the email account that does not work and internetting regularly - the kind of things that could be considered tying , except for the fact that so many politicians openly boast of their lack of computer skills, while making the change, the vote of a number of computer-related laws.
Napolitano spoke about the email until recently at a lunch organized by the Christian Science Monitor. It reiterated its view in the e-mail as a false nuisance, rather than, for example, a very useful communication tool.
Napolitano said she cut the umbilical email when he was governor of Arizona "because I was getting. - You know, you get hundreds and hundreds of things all the time "
In your current job," which has a hundred thousand things arrive in a given day, [do not use email] allows me to focus on where I need to focus, "he added.
So is the angle "is too much." But your comment suggests track
true
dropped because email. "I do not like the process by which people could send an email and say, look, you said, or what they know. And then it becomes two years after saying hey, you get this - among the thousands of people who receive each day
"I be a little more selective about how you want," he said.
Oh, I see. Napolitano does not want to be
. This is
interesting
shit. Again, it is a template to use. It has a number of resources available to help you organize your incoming mail. She has a lot more tools at their disposal than most, but she prefers to just turn the switch to the OFF position to avoid liability for statements, answers or ignored topics.
