We mourn the death of point-and-shoot, but we doubt next House of Blackmagic Pocket Cinema therefore go quietly into the night. While wandering the corridors at NAB, Danielo Garcia broke a sign announcing the device shortly before the scheduled arrival time. The statistics of the promotional banner (in full after the break) reveals that he is the brother of Blackmagic budget film MFT camera. This new unit maintains the same Micro Four Thirds mount, with a sensor film Super 16 1080HD, 13 stops dynamic range, without loss CinemaDNG RAW recording and monitoring Micro HDMI. When it was officially announced, the unit will be priced at $ 995, to put smiles on the faces of independent filmmakers who need their recordings Disneyland ready for the big screen.
