postheadericon Samsung Galaxy Nexus for Verizon LTE hands-on (video)

Yorkers had a taste of the Galaxy Nexus Verizon LTE at Samsung Experience in Columbus Circle today and fell for a few minutes while the Ice Cream Sandwich phone in the showroom in Manhattan. Samsung has four pre-production models Nexus in hand, who were under Android 4.0.1 - version 4.1 is not definitive, we hope to see soon, with the baseband update on the trailer. None of the samples, including SIM cards, so they could test them using the built-in WiFi module. A security alarm sounded when we tried to remove the back cover to install a SIM card, but also superglue the battery, other inhibitors of our access.

We took the camera for a walk with our test speed LTE Verizon MiFi, reaching download speeds ranging from 5000-7000kbps and upload speeds of 300 2000kbps when connected via WiFi LTE. These results are not what you see with integrated module, but considering that there was no way to get this running on the Verizon network, connectivity is limited to the MiFi, and Wi-Fi at home . However, this is your best chance to get their hands on a device before the official launch of Verizon, so if you happen to be anywhere near New York, head down to the experience of the review Samsung Nexus. Or jump past the break for our hands on the video.
