There is no doubt that the satellites have become an essential part of our daily lives, doing things such as communications, navigation, weather forecasts and images remotely possible. Unfortunately, the orbiting objects can be very expensive both to build and launch into space. For some of the functions performed, however, a real satellite, it is not necessary - a high altitude, long range (HALE) aircraft could also do the job, and a much lower cost. Some aircraft were powered by conventional fuel, batteries and hydrogen. On November 13, however, the high-altitude aircraft powered Solar Electric (ELHASPA) joined the aircraft to fly using HALE nothing but the power of the sun. ..
