Tiny sensor transmits data from orthopedic implants
to determine how a patient is recovering from orthopedic surgery, doctors must now be based on technologies such as X-rays or MRI magnetic. Before too long, however, may rather just be able to read the output of tiny sensors implanted in the patient's body. A team of scientists at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York has created a prototype of this device class, measuring just four millimeters in diameter and is 500 microns thick. ..
