If you have been looking to the skies in hopes of glimpsing the UARS satellite sentenced before it fell to the surface of the Earth ... you missed it. NASA is reporting that the satellite out of service fell to Earth sometime between 23:23 EDT Friday, September 23 1:09 am EDT and September 24, so that their access to the final dive Canada, Africa and finally crashing the Pacific Ocean. The exact location of the accident has not been officially determined, but there are reports that some wreckage came ashore near Calgary in Canada.
