postheadericon Mike Lazaridis apologizes for BlackBerry outage: "We've let many of you down" (video)

Now that BlackBerry services are back to full functionality, RIM founder Mike Lazaridis decided to issue a public apology to the court mysterious world this week. In a video released today, Mike Lazaridis acknowledged that RIM dropped the ball this week, but said his company is working hard to remedy the situation. "I apologize for the cuts this week," said Mike Lazaridis. "We did a lot of you down." The executive went on to say that services are close to normal throughout Europe, Middle East, India and Africa, but could not give an estimate of when RIM will complete the global recovery. "It is too early to say that this problem is fully resolved," Mike Lazaridis, adding that there could be some instability, the system returns to normal. He reiterated, however, that his company is "working tirelessly" to restore services and, more importantly, consumer confidence. Go past the break to see the full video for yourself.
