postheadericon Court Says College Can Snoop On Students' Email

Have been many cases where the courts have said that it is acceptable for an employer to be heard (by employer) personal email account. And now there is a case for saying essentially the same schools and universities. As long as the mail system, which apparently no violation of anti-spyware or data protection laws. Certainly understand the reasoning here, although it could be argued that the relationship between a student and a university is very different from an employee and the employer. And I could see how students can have much higher expectations of privacy. However, to make students use e-mail again, or have their own email accounts to their pre-primary
