Belkin introduces Thunderstorm Handheld Home Theater for iPad handson

Although Belkin has always been at the forefront of Apple accessories, offering everything from keyboard case for baby monitors, somehow left unexplored arena audio. Which ends today with the introduction of the storm Belkin Home Theater phones. Behind this mouthful of a product name is essentially a portable speaker dock for the iPad housed in a protective case, which seems much more reasonable speaker Bang & Olufsen expensive "corner". The storm front facing speaker system with full-range speakers and integrated air channels "surround" and "deeper bass." All internal parts are powered by Audifi a mobile audio engineering Belkin recruited specifically for the project. Regarding coverage, Belkin has taken the example of Apple's own offering magnetic, but went further with the addition of multifold lines for different angles.

We spent a few days with the storm and so far we are impressed by the size and depth of these compact speakers. Even if we had the chance to try, Belkin also offers a free iOS to accompany the product - which essentially allows you to adjust the sound with presets for music, movies and games. However, the rain is not without some embarrassment: the case adds a staggering amount of bulk to the iPad and is currently only available with the old 30-pin connector (we are told the version equipped with lightning due in Q2 2013). If you are satisfied with the good ole basic universal, you can take this up in the coming weeks on the online store Belkin, Amazon.com or the Apple Store for $ 200 each.
