TI unveils fastest, highest-performance analog front end for femtocells and portable software-defined radio
AFE7225 addition, the AFE7222 is available for 12-bit applications bandwidth power, less sensitive. It incorporates dual 65-MSPS ADC converter and two 130 MSPS and uses only 398 mW in full-duplex or 212 mW in half duplex mode at full speed.
- The AFE7225 and AFE7222 integrate both the capabilities of digital signal processing rather than the SFA similar, increasing design flexibility. They are the only mixed-signal AFE with independent transmit and receive, 32-bit numerically controlled oscillators (NCO), serialized LVDS I / O options and independent transmit / receive correction quadrature modulation of the gain, phase and imbalances in compensation.
- Key features and benefits of AFE7225 and AFE7222
Low power consumption
: consumes only 12 mW in sleep mode, waking up only 13 of us, or as little as 120 mW in standby mode light with 5-time we wake up.
high performance for clarity signs
: Dual ADC achieves 70 dB SNR, while the converter performs a double flight of 75 dB adjacent channel with a 3G W-CDMA signal.
reduces FPGA signal processing requirements for the number grid, the interface speed and cost
: two of the transmission and Independent Film locking up the digital reception and conversion of 2 to 4x, 2x interpolation mixers NCO decimated thick and 32-bit frequency, the digital correction of gain, phase modulation and quadrature offset to receive and / or transmitting , and a power meter Peak / RMS.
Integration reduces system cost
: Dual 12-bit DAC and auxiliary-input dual 12-bit auxiliary ADC eliminate the need for the separate monitoring and control system, reduces board space, power and cost.
- flexibility for designers
- : Input DAC and ADC digital outputs can be configured for LVDS pin serial to save / track count and using long trail signaling, or multiplexed interface 12-bit CMOS low power consumption, the support of two full-duplex bus or a half-duplex or two digital buses.

and supportevaluation modules are available for $ 499
. The AFE7222EVM and AFE7225EVM include TRF370333 IQ modulator and jitter CDCE72010 own IT management and supply of the device, such as DC / DC converters and low noise LDO to provide a few bits and complete RF reference design prototypes. An IBIS model to verify the integrity requirements of the sign board is also available.Find best price for : --Instruments----Texas--
