Texas Instruments advanced signal conditioners deliver industry's highest performance at lowest power
DALLAS, Jan. 30, 2012 / PRNewswire / - Texas Instruments Incorporated (TI) (NASDAQ: TXN) today introduced 10 signal conditioners for driver interface standards such as high speed 10G / 40G / 100G 10G-KR Ethernet (802.3ap), InfiniBand, Fibre Channel and CPRI. The new integrated circuits (ICs) bind to a complete family of repeaters and fight against deficiencies retimers signal caused by the insertion loss, anxiety, reflection and crosstalk in large enterprise servers speed routers and switches. Made with IT technology performance SiGe BiCMOS process, these new signal conditioners offer the range of the industry's most powerful signal in less than 6 mW per gigabit. For more information about these products and learn about this technology signal conditioning up to 28G, visit www.ti.com / sigcon-dr.
- "As transmission rates increase, the signal integrity requirements of increasingly demanding," said Linley Group analyst Jag Bolaria top. "The highly integrated solutions for the geometries of ASICs and ASSPs transistors ever smaller, lower voltage rails and low voltage output further compound the problem, so the system more vulnerable to random fluctuations and crosstalk interference. Retimer IT and new products to address these deficiencies repeaters the complex signal integrity, power consumption low while. "
- key features and benefits
- DS1xxDF410 families, and DS100KRxxx DS1xxRT410:
- 36 dB 12 dB input EQ
- and out of focus (OF). multi-tap decision feedback equalization (DFE). clock recovery and data
Repeaters
consumes 65 mW per channel; retimers CDR consumes 150 mW per channel.reduce bill of materials (BOM) costs and simplify system design
fully customizable EQ simplifies the link.
embedded in the eye and the screen of the PRBS generator simplifies the purification system.
individual energy supply without external RF chokes.
- These signal conditioners are used for routing cables and passive optical copper latency sensitive direct connection, the port of the first line card, when meeting SFF8431 (SFP +) specification . Can also be used to offset the loss and crosstalk in motherboards, and reduce the thickness gauge in the assemblies of active copper cable. Available as a family pin compatible IC, system designers can choose between repeaters (EQ and driver DE), retimers (EQ, CDR and driver DE), and advanced retimers (EQ, CDR, and the driver DFE DE) to reach the desired link performance and system cost without having to redesign their advice:
DS125DF410 The four (9.8 g 12.5 g), DS110DF410 (8.5 g 11.3 g) and DS100DF410 (10.3 g) of different channel types provide advanced multi retimers -tap DFE, adaptive EQ, CDR, and the driver.
The DS125RT410 (9.8 g 12.5 g), DS110RT410 (8 5G. To 11.3 g) and DS100RT410 (10.3 g) of different types of channels to provide four adaptive EQ retimers , CDR, and the driver of erectile dysfunction.
