A new material known as 'fracture putty' could be used to help broken bones heal much more...



Anyone who has broken a bone knows that upon receipt of the injury itself is pretty nasty, is in bed for several weeks, even few months later, it is not easy. Support may take the form, however. The Department of Defense is funding a study to rapidly develop bone healing treatments that could be used against soldiers and civilians and even animals.
