Sony has taken the wraps of the new VAIO Z series to a press event in Europe. With a weight of 1.2 kg (2.64 lb) and measured 16.65 mm (0.65 in) thin, the "ultra-portable" notebook PC sports a 13.1-inch, 1600 x 900 pixels, anti-reflective display and packs a full-voltage Intel Core i5 and i7 CPU together with solid state drive. Designed for users who do not want to choose between desktop and notebook performance portability, the VAIO Z series also comes with a Power Media Dock, which connects to the notebook via a "light peak" optical cable with quad-monitor support add an optical drive, extra connectivity and AMD Radeon HD graphics. ..
