One caveat, the device will be used as a mirror pretty much looks like an ordinary mirror into a gray mode, so it is difficult to see after dark. I'm not sure there is anti-reflective coating, which would have worked better, but that 'just so.
In addition, some functions (recovery video input selection) are only available with a remote control. It would be nice if you could get access from the outside. Frankly, to find a function of distance only marginally useful.
Overall I give this guy a thumbs up especially for the money.
